Hunter Douglas has released an enhanced WebUI on Control4 for its PowerView Automation. Developed by Cinegration Development, the interface builds on the existing PowerView integration with Control4 to provide homeowners with more intuitive access to shade, scene and room controls from within the platform.

What the PowerView WebUI Adds to Control4 Installations
Designed to closely mirror the familiar PowerView app experience, the WebUI carries the same visual approach to shade control into Control4. Homeowners can see shade position at a glance, control individual shades and access PowerView Scenes and Rooms.
The goal, according to Hunter Douglas, is to create greater consistency in how homeowners interact with shades across PowerView and Control4.
“Homeowners are accustomed to the intuitive, visual experience of managing their shades within the PowerView app,” said AJ Brunson, Senior Developer at Cinegration Development. “We wanted to bring that same level of visibility and control directly into Control4, creating a more seamless and consistent shading experience across the entire smart home.”

Availability
Control4 dealers will have access to the enhanced WebUI at no additional cost. The interface is included with the full suite of PowerView drivers, available for download at drivercentral.io, giving dealers the ability to incorporate it into new and existing PowerView projects with Control4.
