The home theater and whole-house audio equipment manufacturer, OSD Audio, has announced its new SRT4 Gen2 multiroom streaming solution.

“The SRT4 Gen2 is the most advanced multi-room music streaming device on the market,” comments Dave Chai, owner of OSD Audio. “It’s perfect for anyone who wants to enjoy their favorite music in any room of their home.”

According to the Calif.-based company, the new whole-house audio product builds upon the functionality and performance of the previous-generation model through a number of upgrades that include:

• The OSD Audio SRT4 Gen2 multiroom audio streamer incorporates four independent network streamers in one box
• The multiroom streamer is controllable via the new OSD Player app
• OSD Audio states that its new whole-house audio solution provides access to users’ favorite streaming services, including Spotify, Apple Airplay, Amazon Music, TIDAL, Napster, and Internet radio sources
• The new multiroom audio streamer provides four individual inputs for RCA analog, and USB Audio
• Control options for the multizone streamer include a 12-volt trigger out for controlling attached devices such as power amps
• The unit’s RCA analog output connects to amps such as the 4-zone, 8-channel OSD MX880
• The stream offers digital coax and optical outputs to connect to outboard DACs, or an amplifier’s digital input
• Other inputs include an analog and digital bus inputs for connecting a centralized source such as a TV
• Linkable zones to share sources
• Multiple SRT4s can be used for larger installations
