Proving that home theater doesn’t require homeowners to pull a second mortgage, Denon has introduced its new reasonably priced AVR-S770H and AVR-S670H multichannel home theater receivers.
The popular home electronics company’s latest home theater receivers provide homeowners with a choice of affordable multichannel surround sound solutions that incorporate its wireless multiroom audio platform: HEOS. Denon states that its new AVR-S770H and AVR-S670H home theater receivers also offer homeowners a choice of surround sound formats that include Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, Dolby TrueHD and DTS HD Master Audio.
Denon explains the AVR-S770H is a 7.2-channel receiver that offers users 8K video compatibility, as well as compatibility with the Dolby Atmos and DTS:X immersive audio formats. The AVR-S670H is a 5.2-channel receiver that provides homeowners surround sound options through the choice of Dolby TrueHD and DTS HD Master Audio.
Outlining the new receivers’ video capabilities in greater detail, Denon points out that not only do the products work with 8K video, the receivers also incorporate the latest HDMI technologies to support the playback of HDR (high dynamic range) formats, including Dolby Vision and HDR10+, as well as the ability to handle 4K 120Hz signals to provide smooth video images during binging streaming sessions and gaming activities.
Elaborating on the whole-house audio capabilities of its HEOS multiroom streaming platform, Denon says that HEOS technologies enable homeowners to stream audio from services such as TIDAL, Spotify, Pandora, and others.
