MSE Audio, parent company of seven pro and residential audio brands, has announced the appointment of Jim Latimer to regional sales manager โ Northern U.S.
Latimer brings extensive industry experience to his new role.ย ย
โI’ve seen the music and sound business from a few different anglesโ, says Jim Latimer.
โI spent approximately the first ten years of my career as a touring musician around New England and the East Coast. That experience prepared me for the next phase of working in and managing three musical instrument retail stores in three states. For the last 24 years I’ve worked for four pro audio manufacturers in national or regional sales capacities. They included Sonic Foundry, ADAM Audio, LOUD Technologies, and twice with Symetrix.โย
“I really enjoy the MSE Audio team, the technology, and their approach to success in the market,โ continued Latimer. โThe product line is quite extensive and varied with specialty audio brands so there’s always something different to talk about. I’m meeting new people, and still get to work with many of the integrators and designers I’ve known for years. It’s a win-win.”
โJim is a great fit for our team,โ adds Shannon Humphrey, president of MSE Audio.
โHis industry experience and relationships with integrators and end-users will be an asset as we launch our new products this year at both CEDIA Expo and InfoComm.โ
