WAC Group has introduced a new lineup of 2026 smart ceiling fans under its Modern Forms brand, emphasizing integrated lighting, smart home compatibility, premium materials, and updated architectural designs.
According to the company, the latest Modern Forms smart fans are designed to combine airflow, tunable lighting, and connected control into a single platform intended for both residential and outdoor applications.
The goal, according to Alex Ostrovsky, executive director of business and product development for smart fans at WAC Group, is to create a ceiling fan experience that is as high-end as its lighting products while remaining affordable.
“The newest Modern Forms smart ceiling fans from WAC Group bring together three key elements: beautiful design, adjustable lighting, and intelligent control,” Ostrovsky says. “The result is a fan that doesn’t just cool the room. It becomes part of how the space feels and functions every day.”
What makes the 2026 Modern Forms lineup different?
The company says the 2026 lineup introduces new materials and finishes, including natural Spanish alabaster diffusers, reclaimed crystal elements, wrapped wood accents, and rippled acrylic components. New collections include Crown, Carve, and Radiant, each incorporating integrated LED lighting and smart control functionality.
According to WAC Group, the fans feature tunable white LED lighting adjustable from 2700K to 5000K, allowing users to shift lighting color temperature depending on time of day or room activity. Some models also include an automated circadian-style lighting mode designed to follow daylight cycles.
The company says the new Elite Series also addresses lighting output limitations traditionally associated with ceiling fans by incorporating higher-output LED systems with dimming and selectable color temperature settings.
How can Modern Forms fans be controlled?
Modern Forms fans can be controlled through Bluetooth remotes, wall controls, or mobile applications, including the MyWAC app and Modern Forms app depending on the product series. The company says the fans support grouping, scheduling, synchronized control, and temporary user access through the app platform.
“MyWAC is where we’re consolidating all of our smart products so customers have one place to control everything,” Ostrovsky says.
WAC Group also states that the fans are compatible with several home automation platforms, including Control4, Crestron, Lutron, and Nice/ELAN through compatible drivers and gateways.
According to the company, many of the new models deliver between 6,000 and 9,000 CFM of airflow using DC motors designed for quieter operation and energy efficiency. The lineup also includes indoor, damp-rated, and wet-rated models for outdoor installations.
WAC Group says the 2026 lineup additionally introduces a patent-pending stabilizer accessory intended to reduce sway and improve durability in outdoor environments, with testing conducted under conditions equivalent to 85 mph winds.
