Legrand and Milestone to blend major home-tech brands Chief, Sanus, Da-Lite, OnQ, NuVo, Qmotion, Middle Atlantic and Vantage, but big play is in commercial AV, with synergies between Mid Atlantic, Chief, Sanus, Da-Lite and Vaddio.

Legrand has signed an agreement to acquire Milestone AV for an enterprise value of $950 million. Legrand brands like Middle Atlantic will join forces with Milestone brands like Chief, Sanus and Da-Lite.

Salamander, along with CinemaTech and Fortress, increased their respective dealer totals from the previous year, while BDI and Sanus held still in the furniture category.

Led by market stalwart Middle Atlantic, the rack category remains relatively unchanged except for Sanus making solid gains to claim the third spot.

SnapAV’s Strong brand closes the gap to share second place with Active Thermal Management (ATM), right behind Middle Atlantic.

The top four mount companies from 2016 are unchanged: Strong (SnapAV), Chief, Sanus and Peerless AV. Future Automation cracks the top five.
