Adding to its product line to provide professional integrators with more connectivity solutions, Cleerline has just introduced its new the SSF Double Jacket Micro Distribution Fiber Optic Cable (DJMD).
The company explains that its latest product was developed to bridge a critical gap between traditional micro distribution cables and larger, more rugged fiber-cabling products. Cleerline states that its new 2 to 12 fiber-optic cable integrates a dual-layer jacket that combines the compact profile of a micro-distribution cable with the durability needed to install the product in a range of challenging environments.
Cleerline Technology Group points out this design utilizes an inner 2.5mm cable sub unit that is engineered to provide added protection from possible physical damage while helping the cable withstand the rigors of its installed environment.
The SSF Double Jacket Micro Distribution Fiber Optic Cable (DJMD) is compatible with with standard 50/125 multimode and 9/125 single-mode fiber connector systems to enable the product to install seamlessly into existing cabling networks.
Summarizing its latest product, Cleerline notes the DJMD fiber-optic cable offers integrators a combination of performance, strength and reliability. The cable’s dual-jacket design and indoor/outdoor riser rating the cable carries, Cleerline adds underscores the product’s versatility to support its installation in a range of environments.
