WiiM has officially launched its WiiM Home app on Apple TV, giving users a new way to control their multiroom audio systems from the comfort of their living room couch. The app, which had been in beta and available to early access users, is now fully released and available for download in the Apple TV App Store.

The addition of support for Apple TV, a hugely popular set-top box among custom home technology professionals and their high-end clients, marks a strategic step in WiiM’s effort to expand control options for its growing lineup of streaming devices and audio gear. With the new interface, users can manage playback, access basic controls, and navigate their systems using the Apple TV remote and the largest screen in their home.

According to WiiM, this integration brings several key features, including streamlined control and the ability to access essential playback functions directly from a TV, projector, or other screen hooked up to an Apple TV device along with an Apple TV-optimized user interface.

While the initial release focuses on core functionality, WiiM says it is actively working to expand the app’s capabilities. An Android TV version is also in development, giving integrators and end users more flexibility across different smart TV ecosystems.

WiiM’s latest app release reinforces the brand’s mission to offer accessible, high-quality smart audio solutions with broad compatibility and user-friendly control.

The company didn’t mention other smart TV operating systems, such as Samsung’s Tizen LG’s webOS, Roku, or Amazon’s Fire TV.

The announcement comes just a few weeks after WiiM launched its Vibelink Amp, a compact 100-watt-per-channel Class-D amplifier designed for audiophiles using passive speakers and external streamers. Offering 67% more power than the WiiM Amp Pro, it supports both analog and hi-res digital sources up to 192kHz/24-bit via premium DAC and TI components.

Built for flexibility and performance, the amp features thermal management, anti-pop noise design, and seamless integration with WiiM devices—delivering powerful, clean sound without relying on Wi-Fi.
