Focal, a French global manufacturer of consumer and professional audio products has announced its new Theva range of loudspeakers.
Launched at the consumer Axpona (Audio Expo North America) event that takes place on April 14 to 16, Focal boasts that its latest products elevate sound through design and the use of elegant finishes. Speaker finishes such as black, dark wood and light wood finishes complement the speaker design, and dark or light wood effects are available for the side panels for added aesthetic flair.
According to Focal, The range looks at home in both classic and modern interiors, combining with other materials like metal, concrete, stone and more. The black finish offers a timeless tone, bringing character to any room. The enclosures have been revamped to be more compact, while the additional front panels provide an elegant finish and serve to make the products more robust.
Additionally, Focal has chosen metallic, screen-printed rings to frame the speaker drivers; the company also notes the vents has been positioned to the rear to avoid interfering with the speakers’ front panels. Moreover, the speaker bases and grilles were developed to complement each model.
Focal Theva Line of Products Features 6 Models
The new line of products provides integrators with a choice of solutions to address a range of system installations. The N°1 is a compact bookshelf loudspeaker, while the Theva N°2 is a three-way floorstanding loudspeaker with an ultra-slim profile and 5-inch speaker drivers, which the company says is a first for its home floorstanding loudspeakers. The N°3 is a three-way floorstanding loudspeaker; the Theva N°3-D is a loudspeaker that incorporates a speaker driver to facilitate Dolby Atmos, and the two-way Theva Center center-channel speaker was developed for the reproduction of clear film and video dialog.

Rounding out the product line is the Theva Surround that supports integrators’ ability to offer full, spatial-audio and surround-sound systems.
