American Audio/Video: Docking Tube Amplifiers
Booth # 3308

This unique Roth Audio MC4 Docking Tube will be shown at the Expo by distributor American Audio/Video.

08.03.2007 — If you needs proof that the custom industry is evolving and growing, you should visit the American Audio/Video booth at CEDIA.

Debuting at CEDIA, American Audio/Video is a distributor of professional audio, musical instruments and consumer electronics. The company will be showing the unique Roth Audio MC4 Docking Tube Amplifier, as well as several other new products from U.K.-based manufacturer Fatman.

According to Grant Baldwin, director of new product development for American Audio/Video, the company's products will provide installers the opportunity to differentiate themselves with industrial designs engineered to be shown instead of being integrated within a home environment.

"Our products are not the customary audio-type custom products in the sense that most are designed to be hidden," he points out. "CEDIA is all about lifestyle and integrating beautiful, yet functional products into our world and the Roth and Fatman product lines are all about that.

"However, they are products that do not need to be hidden because they can integrate into a room with any elegant décor. Our products are kind of like the plasma and flat screens of the world -- they need to be flaunted. They need their beauty to be appreciated."

In addition to the Roth Audio MC4, Baldwin says American Audio/Video will also be showing the full product line-up from Fatman.

"This line includes tube amplified docking stations for the iPod, including several models ranging from the entry level iTube Valve Dock to the powerful iTube 252," he notes.

"Fatman also has specifically designed speakers called Fatboys to ensure perfect compatibility with its amplifiers."
