According to URC, the remote control’s streamlined, ergonomic design allows homeowners to use the remote without having to look at the screen. Providing some details on the screen, the company notes the TDC-5100 utilizes a 5-inch screen that delivers high-resolution graphics and powered by its processor, the remote provides quick responses to simple, one-touch commands or voice command that are executed through the unit’s built-in microphone.
The remotes compatibility with Amazon Alexa, Comcast Xfinity and Apple Siri to allow homeowners to use their preferred voice control platform, and the remote incorporates 2.4 and 5 GHz wireless networking capabilities.
