SurgeX, a manufacturer of advanced power protection, analytical software, remote monitoring, and cloud solutions, has announced the appointment of Jim Cali to the SurgeX sales team as Regional Manager, Northeast/Canada.
The N.C.-based company states that Jim Cali assumes all responsibility for SurgeX sales across the Northeastern United States territory as well as Canadian sales support.
“Jim has been an impactful sales leader in the telecommunications and technology industry for nearly four decades,” says Steve Trunkett, director, global sales at SurgeX.
“His impressive career and global perspective make him an incredible asset to the entire organization, and we’re especially fortunate to have his skill set supporting the SurgeX Sales Team.”
Cali joins SurgeX from the Avison Young Data Center Advisory Practice, where he was the principal and managing director, consulting with enterprise clients to develop strategies for their mission critical facilities and IT assets. Prior to Avison Young, Cali served in a similar role for Cushman & Wakefield where he began that company’s end user real-estate consulting division to help data center and telecommunications clients maximize return on technology assets. Throughout his nearly 40-year career, Cali has also honed his product and business development skills at One Equity Partners, Qwest Communications, and Sprint.
