“Patton” George C. Scott in the opening scene stated: “The object of war is not to die for your country but to make the other bastard die for his.” It’s really that simple. He broke the rules, but he delivered. Is it better to ask for forgiveness or permission ask Burkhardt rhetorically? I love this quote by him: “A good plan violently executed right now is far better than a perfect plan executed next week.” That is the best business advice I’ve ever had.
