Legrand AV Da-Lite Contour & SightLine Screens
Da-Lite was catering to customers and designers with its ceiling- or wall-mount Contour screen system and SightLine screens. The Contour is more of a traditional motorized solution, while SightLine presents an attractive aesthetic because it’s a height-adjustable cable drop system, notes Legrand’s Steve Baker, director of sales, account management, West – residential/custom integrator. “It gives us an aesthetic where the screen just looks like it’s floating,” he enthuses. “We do screens up to 14, 15 feet depending on which series.” He says advantages include the ability to prewire the casing during construction and add the screen later; and height adjustment can be done in the field with up to 70 inches of adjustment, which is ideal for when adding cameras and soundbars for boardroom screen installations, for example.
