After unveiling its smart home solutions at CEDIA Expo 2023, Swiss-American company AVA has announced it is now shipping the product lineup, including the AVA Cinema Remote, AVA OS, and AVA Nano Brain.
The company says that following a highly successful pre-order phase, it navigated an unexpected delay with transparency and commitment, working to ensure that the final products exceed both integrator and consumer expectations.
“We aimed for perfection with these new devices,” says Raphael Oberholzer, CEO of AVA. “The positive response from our dealers affirms our dedication to quality. The AVA Cinema Remote, in particular, embodies our vision for the future of home control.
“Now, as we begin shipping, we’re excited for customers to experience these innovations firsthand. This moment isn’t just about overcoming production hurdles; it’s a leap into a future where smart home technology is truly intuitive and accessible. We thank the the installers who have been on our side in anticipation of this moment.”
Following its intro at CEDIA Expo, the AVA Cinema Remote has earned acclaim for its combination of a vibrant touchscreen and its Dynamic Keypad, which makes a sophisticated remote control elegant and simple to use, the company states.

AVA OS, Nano Brain Facilitate Intuitive Setup & Use
AVA adds that its OS simplifies the complexity of modern AV systems, making advanced home theater setups effortless to control. The Nano Brain, a compact smart home processor, enables seamless integration and scaling for AVA OS in larger systems, the company says.
“Our commitment to innovation, exemplified by the AVA Cinema Remote and supported by AVA OS and AVA Nano Brain, marks this release as a milestone for AVA and the smart home industry,” says Patrick Domenig, COO.
“The enthusiasm from our dealers and customers has been overwhelming. We’re not just shipping products; we’re delivering a new standard of luxury and convenience in home automation.”
Along with the shipping announcement, AVA has released a series short how-to videos so dealers have fast, focused training that lets them put AVA Cinema Remote to work.
“Our dealers are eager to get started with Cinema Remote and AVA OS,” adds Ted Haeger, chief customer officer. “Learning AVA OS is fast, and that’s by design. Instead of a multi-day class to learn complex dealer tools that feel decades old, your team can get competent with AVA OS in less than an hour.”
AVA products are available only from authorized dealers in the United States, Canada, and United Kingdom.
The AVA Cinema Remote has an MSRP of $1,299, and AVA Nano Brain has an MSRP of $399. AVA OS is a free software system included with the Cinema Remote and Nano Brain, and also as a free update for the Home Remote.
