Sanus Adds Sleek Stand for A/V Systems
BFV145 Audio Video Stand supports TVs up to 52 inches for $269.
Sanus’ BFV145 Audio Video Stand holds TVs up to 52 inches and will retail for $269.
Sanus Systems has introduced its affordable BFV145 Audio Video Stand, the company’s first offering in its Foundations Basic Series furniture line. The BFV can be a media room’s BFF for $269.
The piece can hold TVs up to 52 inches, if you need to use the top shelf as a stand. If not, you can start loading it up with electronics and/or center-channel speakers - top shelf capacity is 150 pounds.
The middle and bottom shelves can support 50 and 75 pounds, respectively, according to Sanus.
Even so, you may want to be relatively selective with what you put on the shelves, because the tempered glass look is pretty nice to have as a decorative element in a media or living room. Sanus says the shelves are shatter resistance, but you probably should take care when you plop an amplifier on it.
Cable management holes provide a centralized way to route wire and cabling, and the open architecture ensures proper ventilation. The BFV145 also has adjustable feet so everything will be on the level.
