Are TV manufacturers experiencing declining sales on HDTVs?
That answer would be yes,
according to a report from HD Guru.
In an attempt to boost sales, major TV manufacturers are reportedly slashing prices of large screen plasmas and LCDs in
lieu response to the slow economy.
This isn't the first price cut, either, but HD Guru says some companies will cut prices another $400.
HD Guru says Mitsubishi, Panasonic, Samsung and Sharp have already made dealers aware of the upcoming price cuts.
Other TV manufacturers with an overflowing inventory are expected to follow.
A recent DisplaySearch study says the
North American share of the LCD market may drop. Cheaper TVs, however could result in more consumers purchasing HDTVs.
HD Guru has an
