Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past couple of years, it’s hard not to notice how people consume audio these days.

Physical media formats such as the CD have waned in popularity in favor of streaming media.

Validating this shift in how people consume music, Neilsen Music’s annual Mid-Year 2018 report finds that over the first half of the year people listened to more than 400 billion on-demand streams.

Overall, the music industry also experienced an on-demand song streaming increase of more than 45 percent over the previous year.

So what does this mean to professional integrators?

It means that more people are turning to digital audio systems as their primary means of music playback and offering systems that support these usage scenarios is now the highest priority for homeowners.

Providing systems robust enough to support these applications, as well as system expansion, and users’ performance aspirations is Lenbrook’s state-of-the-art BluOS platform.

In CE Pro’s latest webinar learn how to specify, setup and install BluOS-based wireless and wired whole-house audio systems from Lenbrook and its brands that include Bluesound, NAD and its partners such as DALI Loudspeakers.

The webinar takes place on Wednesday, December 12 at 11 a.m. EST, and it features Joe DeJesus, product manager, custom installation, Lenbrook, Andrew Haines partnerships, development & BluOS product manager, Lenbrook International, and CE Pro senior editor Bob Archer who will moderate the discussion.
