The latest architectural Digital Active loudspeaker from Meridian is the DSP750 In-Wall Loudspeaker.
Meridian states that its new DSP750 in-wall loudspeaker is engineered for demanding stereo and home theater applications that require architectural loudspeakers.
The British audio company explains the speaker features its CLASS-M DSP engine that helps to provide thermal and dynamic bass protection for the best possible sound reproduction.
Meridian notes the DSP750 also incorporates its double-baffle aluminum enclosure that minimizes unwanted resonances and coloration from the cabinet. Inside the enclosure resides five drivers with internal separate enclosures for the midrange drivers.
Powering the drivers are a bridged pair of Dynamic Hi-Res Amplifiers that are capable of producing 100 watts into an 8-ohm load.
Other technologies built into the DSP750s, which are capable of producing SPL levels as high as 120dB include Meridian’s Enhanced Bass Alignment technology and Centre Elevation technology.
Meridian adds the DSP750 In-Wall Loudspeaker is capable of playing down to 30Hz, and the speaker requires just 3.93 inches (100mm) of mounting depth.
