EPOS, a newly formed brand launched by Sennheiser and Demant A/S, has introduced its Expand 80 speakerphone.
The Expand 80 is designed to support remote collaboration meetings in medium- and large-sized rooms. EPOS says that its latest product provides integrators and users with a scalable Bluetooth speakerphone that supports as many as 16 in-room participants.
According to the company, its new speakerphone also incorporates six adaptive beamforming microphones, along with digital signal processing (DSPs) that “intelligently” isolate voices from room ambience and noise.
EPOS points out that integrators can increase the capabilities of the speakerphone to support up to 32 participants by adding the company’s Expand 80 mic.
Additionally, the new speakerphone provides USB-C and NFC (nearfield communications) options.
Other features built into the unit include multi-point connectivity, an easy-to-use interface with options such as one-touch access to voice assistant technologies.
