Origin Acoustics Builds Its Largest CEDIA Expo Booth Yet, Trading Product Walls for Four Lived-In Rooms

Origin Acoustics unveils its biggest CEDIA Expo booth yet: four immersive rooms, architectural audio and a sneak peek at a mystery product.

Origin Acoustics is going bigger, and more experiential, with its presence at CEDIA Expo 2026 in Denver. The architectural audio manufacturer says Booth #2523 is its largest and most immersive booth to date, built around four fully furnished environments rather than a conventional product showcase.

Instead of lining shelves with speakers, Origin has constructed a kitchen, dining room, living room, and outdoor space, each intended to illustrate a distinct way homeowners listen to audio in daily life. Live audio demonstrations and custom video content run throughout each room, with the company positioning the setup as a way to show integrators and dealers how its products perform in real-world context rather than on a spec sheet.

Design-First Approach

The booth was developed by Origin’s in-house interior designer, Robyn Travaglia, who also serves as the company’s Director of Architectural Specification. According to Origin, the project started with how each space should feel before technology, lighting, materials, and furnishings were layered in — an approach the company ties directly to its “Design-Centric Technology” positioning.

“Design-Centric Technology is not just a look. It is a way of thinking,” Travaglia said. “We started with how each room should feel, then designed the audio, visuals, and environment to work as one.”

Four Rooms, Four Use Cases

Origin describes each environment as serving a different function within the booth’s narrative:

  • Kitchen and dining room — positioned around audio’s role in everyday gatherings and shared moments.
  • Living room — built for higher-energy use cases, including immersive entertainment and high-performance listening.
  • Outdoor space — extends the listening experience beyond the home’s walls.

Company messaging emphasizes that some technology in the rooms is intentionally concealed, while other elements are meant to be visible, with each design decision driven by the room’s function rather than a uniform install approach.

Early Look at an Unreleased Platform

Multiple rooms in the booth also feature a product platform Origin has not yet formally launched. The company says integrating the unreleased technology into the live environments gives dealers a chance to experience it in context ahead of its release, evaluate the category opportunity, and provide feedback before it comes to market. Origin has not disclosed additional details on the platform’s specifications or launch timeline.

Guided Tours and Dealer Focus

Origin is running guided tours of the booth every 15 minutes throughout the show, structured around individual projects, the design problems they solve, and Origin’s corresponding product solution. The company says specifications are addressed when relevant but are not the primary focus of the tour narrative.

Scheduled tour slots filled before the show opened; the company says attendees can join an onsite waitlist at the booth.

“CEDIA brings more of our dealers together than any other event. If we were going to go big, this is where we wanted to do it,” said Nick Berry, CEO of Origin Acoustics. “We did not come here to line up products on a wall. We built four spaces people can step into, hear for themselves and leave thinking differently about what audio can bring to a room.”
