2018 CE Pro Masters Recognizes 14 Industry Stalwarts

Mark Nimrod – Co-Founder, Opus Audio/Video/Control – Once upon a time, Mark Nimrod was a crackerjack salesmen at the iconic uber-high-end Take 5 Audio near the Yale University campus in New Haven, Conn. Not only proficient but prescient, he saw the future of the “stereo” business evolving toward custom installation. Along with partner and fellow Take 5 alum Eric Borgstrom, Nimrod left the retailer to start Opus Audio Video in 1990, fully four years before the first edition of CE Pro hit the streets and when CEDIA Expo was little more than a big dinner party. Incidentally, Borgstrom retired to South Carolina a little while back and is still itching to make yet another imprint on our business.
