VUDU Announces Automation and Control Partnerships
Control 4, Crestron, Logitech, NetStreams, Philips, Universal Electronics and Universal Remote Control to integrate with VUDU XL.
VUDU is partnering with a number of home automation and control manufacturers, including Control 4, Crestron, Logitech, NetStreams, Philips, Universal Electronics and Universal Remote Control, the company announced at EHX.
IR codes for the VUDU XL are now available in Logitech's Harmony database, Philips' Prestigo and Pronto lines, UEI's Nevo controllers and URC's systems. NetStreams, Crestron and Control4 are all supporting the product in their automation lines.
"VUDU's recently-announced partners provide it with a solid entry point into the custom installation business, where media servers and enhanced audio-video components are a great complement to the higher-end entertainment systems currently being installed," says Kurt Scherf, vice president and principal analyst with Parks Associates.
At EHX, VUDU is displaying their products at booth #552.
