PPC Names Chris Gibbins, Rebecca Ziolko Sales Managers
Gibbins and Ziolko are new Western and Eastern sales managers.
PPC has bolstered its sales team for its Perfect Path line of connectors and cables with the addition of Chris Gibbins and Rebecca Ziolko as Western and Eastern sales managers, respectively.
Gibbins and Ziolko will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales plans for the Perfect Path family of products in the consumer electronics, custom installation and retail A/V markets while directing channel development activity and coordinating sales distribution to their respective territories.
Gibbins comes to PPC as an industry veteran with experience as a senior product development and sales manager at Monster Cable Products, Inc. He previously served as merchandise buyer and as regional sales manager for California-based The Good Guys specialty retail chain. Gibbins holds a Bachelor of Science in business marketing from San Diego State University.
Ziolko has been with PPC since 2005. She has held the positions of marketing coordinator, insides sales representative, associate regional sales manager, and product marketing manager of retail markets, where she managed the PPC HDMI consumer cable product line. Ziolko earned a Bachelor of Science in business from the State University of New York at Geneseo.
"I am pleased to welcome Chris to the Perfect Path team, and congratulate Rebecca on her new position," says PPC President John Mezzalingua.
"Both [Gibbins and Ziolko] have valuable experience in the consumer electronics industry and have demonstrated a penchant for success that will be instrumental to us as we strengthen the market presence of our Perfect Path line."
The Perfect Path brand is headed by Eric Bodley, vice president and general manager of consumer electronics for PPC, and he says that he is excited about the opportunity he has to work with Gibbins and Ziolko in growing the cabling product line's sales.
"Perfect Path is a complete connectivity solution, and since its introduction at CEDIA Expo 2009, the brand has really taken off. I look forward to working with both Chris and Rebecca as we build on this momentum and continue to penetrate the consumer electronics market," stated Bodley.
Gibbins will be based outside San Francisco, and Ziolko will be based in New York City. Both will report to Bodley.
