10.22.2008 — Mitsubishi has added three LCDs to its digital signage line — the LDT521V, LDT651P and LDT651L.

The LDT521V is a 52-inch LCD that can be used in both landscape or portrait modes, while the 65-inch LDT651L display can be displayed in landscape mode only.

Mitsubishi says the LDT651P can be special-ordered for applications requiring a taller, portrait mode display.

Each model offers 1080p resolution (1,920 x 1,080 native) and a contrast ratio up to 2,000:1.

Each LCD also features:
  • Connectivity including analog RGB, digital RBG and HDMI
  • Ability to be networked with third-party solutions
  • Digital zoom
  • Picture-in-picture mode
The LDT521V and LDT651P monitors offer 450 cd/m2 of brightness, while the LDT651L offers 420 cd/m2 of brightness.

Each LCD has scheduling controls for on/off operation, presentations, image changeovers and more.

"Our dealers have been asking for larger screen sizes in portrait and landscape formats, and we're meeting their requests with this line expansion," says James Chan, senior director, product marketing, Mitsubishi Digital Electronics America’s Presentation Products Division.

The LDT521V, LDT651P and LDT651L are currently shipping from authorized Mitsubishi dealers.

Mitsubishi didn't announce pricing.
