How to Save an Easy $20 on Sears ServiceLive

If you want to save a little cash on Sears' installation service, just wait a couple of weeks ... or use my code.

I was doing some research on the various national installer networks recently. Sears ServiceLive was one of them.

Like Zip Express, OnForce, NEW, InstallerNet and others, Sears has an army of independent installers in their database, ready to hang a TV, install a fan or remodel a house.

As part of my research, I entered a request at ServiceLive.com for a security system and a smart thermostat. I didn't go all the way with it, but I went far enough.

Three weeks later, I get this email:

Hi Julie,

Thank you for creating a ServiceLive account. We noticed you have not posted a service order and would like to invite you to connect with us to get the best price on your next project.

To help you out, we're giving you $20 to get started. Simply enter promo code POST20 at project checkout and we will add $20 to your ServiceLive account, which can be used toward any order.*

You're our priority. We consistently work to improve our website and provide world-class customer support. We also continue to background check and recruit skilled service pros to fulfill your projects.

Start saving time, money and energy at http://www.servicelive.com.

Thanks!

You are welcome to use my promo code. Interestingly, there there is no corresponding asterisk to define what "any order*" might be.

Perhaps one day we can actually go the next level and secret-shop all of these installation services.
