DP’s optional CINE-Skin enclosure provides installers with a sanctioned and stylish accessory that cools a projector and quiets its operational status.

Projectors are a great way of giving consumers the ultimate video experience. The problem with projectors however is that they require some pre-planning by electronics professionals to ensure they perform up to their potential.

Digital Projection's (DP) CINE-skin enclosure is designed as an add-on accessory for the company's Titan and Titan Reference series of projectors that aids in the longevity and appearance of DP products.

The CINE-Skin hush box incorporates internal cooling fans that are strategically placed throughout the unit to draw heat away from a projector to help a projector maintain a consistent level of reliability and performance. The Atlanta-based company also lines the box with acoustical material to dampen any noise that emanates from the installed projector, and it includes provisions for power and IR repeaters.

DP adds the enclosure is compatible with its optional 2.35:1 TheaterScope lens systems to enable installers to setup a full 1.78:1 to 2.35:1 video system.

To help the enclosure and projector blend into a variety of home interiors, DP utilizes a sleek and colorful industrial design, and its access panel provides installers a fast way to service a projector/enclosure combination.
