Clare Controls Adds Final Manufacturer’s Rep

Clare Controls has announced the appointment of Novidor & Firestone to serve as a manufacturers sales representative. Novidor & Firestone will assist Clare Controls in bringing ClareHome, a home automation system managed from the cloud and run on a Mac, and its other products to dealers in Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada and Arizona.

Novidor & Firestone will work to bring Clare Controls’ whole-home automation solution, ClareHome, to dealers and their customers. By utilizing cloud-based technologies, dealers can configure, deploy, service and monitor the ClareHome solution, while the system runs on a Mac mini locally in the home.

ClareHome, will of a recent CE Pro 2011 BEST award at CEDIA Expo, enables end users to control lighting, security, audio, CCTV and other home systems through Apple iPads, iPhones and web browsers. Users modify their own experience within the system by accessing the cloud-based Applet library, customizing their interfaces instantly without assistance from a professional programmer or technician—a feature that is unprecedented within the luxury home automation industry.
