CE Pro Goes Mobile!
The speedy mobile version of the industry’s leading site, which has 100,000+ unique visitors and 500,000 pageviews monthly, is a fast and portable way to read breaking news, download white papers, watch videos, view slideshows and more.
Users do not need to type in a separate mobile URL. The site will automatically detect that you are accessing cepro.com via a mobile device and redirect to the new well-designed mobile version. The tablet experience will remain the same with the full site available.
Integrators, technicians and sales staff in the field will no longer need to wait (and wait and wait and wait in some cases) for the full website to load on their mobile devices. Easy-to-use pull-down navigation bars allow users to quickly access News (including blogs, products, CE Profiles, and the CE Pro 100), Topics (such as audio, displays, home automation, lighting control, security, networking and more), and full Search capabilities.
So when you are early to an appointment, have a break on the job or stop for lunch, CE Pro information is handy and available as a key business resource.
In yet another evolution, an optimized version of each printed issue of CE Pro magazine will soon be available in the Apple App Store for tablets. A digital edition version of the publication has been available on desktop computers for over 5 years.

Thanks for the comments, Chris. We’ll look into it.

I like the new mobile format. The text is sized correctly, the articles are easy to read in both portrait and landscape mode and the ads are not intrusive. I am using an iPhone, by the way.
One suggestion:
Since many of your articles contain images in a slide show format, it is somewhat cumbersome to view the slide show and when you click ‘next’ for the next image it reloads the entire page and you land back at the top. Any way to just have the next image load without a complete reload of the entire page?
