AVAD Names Cynthia Menna Senior Manager of Business Development
Menna previously managed AVAD's D2B program and was territory sales manager of Michigan and Ohio.
VAN NUYS, Calif. — AVAD LLC, North America's leading distributor of custom electronics, announced the promotion of Cynthia Menna to the position of Senior Manager, Business Development.
In her new role, Menna, who previously managed AVAD's D2B program and held the title of Territory Sales Manager (Michigan, Ohio), will work with AVAD executives to identify, develop, manage and facilitate the growth of new product categories, service offerings and solution sets.
As part of her responsibilities, Menna will report directly to AVAD Vice President and General Manager Jim Annes, and work with AVAD's executive team and its partners on areas of expanded product offerings and opportunities to support AVAD's existing categories. Through the research, development and implementation of focused internal and external training and dealer support programs, she will also strengthen AVAD's position as the custom installers' primary source for knowledge on current and future market trends — helping them better manage and grow their businesses.
"From day one, Cynthia has shown a commitment to reinforcing AVAD's reputation as the custom installers' go-to resource for the latest products and business strategies," said Annes. "We look forward to leveraging her expertise and industry insight to fuel AVAD's success as we continue to focus on the specific needs and demands of our dealers."
An AVAD employee for over two years, Menna most recently handled AVAD's sales operations in the Michigan and Ohio regions. She has also been responsible for the management of AVAD's groundbreaking D2B program, which revolutionized the gap between builders and installers by helping them identify and meet homeowners' demand for cutting-edge home systems. She also managed the company's recent entrance into the commercial and security categories.
