Amp Toss: Guess the Winning Distance

image
Not everyone can take part in the Amp Toss at the Installer Olympics. You have to at least be able to lift the thing. Well, everyone can participate in "Guess the Winning Amp Toss Distance" contest, no matter how scrawny you are.

Simply guess the winning distance and you could win an amplified multiroom audio system from NuVo. It's a new one that will be demonstrated at CEDIA but you'll learn about it first at CEDIAnews.com

Enter your guess -- out to three decimal places -- in the Comments section below.

You must be a qualified home systems integrator to win.

Saturday, Sept. 8, 12:00 - 4:00
Registration begins one hour prior to the start.

How much does it weigh?  That’s a key metric.

I ripped my old amp out of the stack, took it outside and threw it 32 feet, 11 inches. Boy I hope I win =). For some reason it is not working now%).

Gotta have the specs but I have no doubt that Julie could throw it at least three feet with a tail wind.

The only thing I can throw farther than 3 feet is a Frisbee, and even then I might need a tail wind. Total wimp.
