Cables To Go, a provider of high-performance cabling and connectivity solutions, has rebranded as C2G.

C2G says the new name will help communicate a broader direction of products and tools and planned geographic expansion across Europe.

"Over the years our product portfolio has grown beyond cabling to include A/V connectivity solutions that utilize the latest technology to provide more options for our customers," says Bill Diederich, president and CEO of Lastar, parent company of C2G.

"With the C2G brand, we now have better alignment between our products and brand that communicates our offering to key partners and customers. With a remarkable 28 years of experience as the trusted partner in connectivity - expertly delivering quality solutions and an extraordinary customer experience every time - we are poised to realize our full potential in getting our customers and partners connected,” said

C2G is launching several products at InfoComm 2012, including upgrades to its RapidRun Multi-Format cable line, TruLink HDMI over Cat5 and TruLink Media Gateway products, and the availability of ConnectXpress, a guided, self-service platform for selecting connectivity solutions.
