Simaudio has updated its competitively priced 250i integrated amplifier with the launch of its new Moon by Simaudio 250i v2 integrated amplifier.

The Montreal-based audio manufacturer states that its latest product incorporates a new circuit design, a new power shield for the power supply and for the first time to meet the public’s increasing appetite for vinyl playback—a built in moving magnet (MM) phono preamplifier. According to Simaudio, the new 250i v2 integrated amplifier builds upon earlier versions of the integrated amp with next-generation semiconductors that in combination with the new circuit design help the product to produce higher levels of performance.

Supporting the improved audio performance, Simaudio points out the 250i v2 integrated amplifier also features easy-to-use tactile controls, and it offers the integrated amplifier in a choice of either black, two-tone black and silver finishes to help it blend into a range of home environments.

Summarizing the features the new v2 integrated amplifier provides, Simaudio says the 250i v2 provides a choice of six inputs, including phono and media inputs on the front panel, as well as a 1/4-inch headphone input on the front panel, and a rigid chassis to help minimize unwanted vibration.

In addition, Simaudio backs the the 250i v2 integrated amplifier with a 10-year warranty.
