WyreStorm, a specialist in AV signal management and control over HDBaseT, AV over IP and HDMI, is set to demonstrate exactly what it means by providing “The Right Technology for the Application” at CEDIA 2017 by showcasing new residential 4K UHD HDR solutions across multiple transmission technology platforms, including modular multi-format HDBaseT and 4K over IP over 1Gb and 10Gb.
WyreStorm CEO, Derek Hulbert, states: “Given the level of flexibility and integration demanded by today’s AV integrations, going to market with just one technology is such an out of date strategy.”
WyreStorm’s two-year development has culminated in its latest product offering solutions across the multiple platforms of HDMI, HDBaseT and three AV over IP technologies, which Hulbert notes is “somewhat unique in the industry, enabling us to truly deliver solutions for almost every allocation and market vertical.”
New additions to WyreStorm’s broad HDBaseT and rapidly expanding AV over IP offerings showcased at CEDIA this year include the H2X Series of modular HDBaseT 5Play 4K HDR matrix switchers with integrated audio matrix switching featuring a selection of multi-format transmission cards.
Also making debuts at CEDIA are two new evolutions to WyreStorm’s award-winning NetworkHD AV over IP line. The recently launched NetworkHD 400 Series features ultra-low latency JPEG2000 for stunning visually lossless 4K HDR combined with auto-scaling for mixed 4K and 1080p installations, multichannel audio and powerful audio matrix functionality that routes audio separately from video to any decoder.
The soon-to-be released 600 Series takes things up a notch with AptiVision’s BlueRiver platform offering zero latency, zero compression and seamless switching of lossless 4K UHD HDR content at 60hz with 4:4:4 subsampling representing the absolute pinnacle of AV over IP distribution for residential applications.
On the latest additions to the WyreStorm line to be showcased in san Diego, Hulbert states: “Offering innovative, reliable products with real-world applications across multiple transmission technologies gives CEDIA integrators the ability to provide single-platform and hybrid solutions that utilize the best technology available for specific residential applications. Regardless of the technology used, we do this by developing products that combine functionality and maximize compatibility; while minimizing system complexity and connectivity for increased ease of installation, performance and reliability – all while offering the best possible value and end-user experience.”
