Nice, a global manufacturer of home and business management solutions, has announced the launch of Gefen Gen3 AVoIP, a commercial-level performance AV-over-IP product line. The news comes as the company is exhibiting at ISE 2025, where it has also introduced its voice assistant to the European market for the first time since its release in version 8.9 of Nice OS.

According to the company, as the market demands increasingly sophisticated and scalable AV solutions, Gefen Gen3 delivers high levels of performance, simplified deployment, and robust control to help integrators to create easy-to-use and reliable experiences across various professional applications.

What the Gefen Gen3 Can Do

Gefen Gen3 AVoIP incorporates an array of features designed for the modern AV landscape. The signal distribution platform supports 4K Ultra HD with HDR to help ensure high-quality video, while 7.1-channel audio, analog audio break-out, and optical return path provide flexible audio integration. Nice North America points out that scalability is paramount, and to facilitate scalability, the system supports video walls up to 16×16 and virtual matrixes that are capable of handling 65,000 devices.

The system also offers Gefen Syner-G software that Nice North America says simplifies system configuration and management to streamline deployment to help reduce installation time. The new Gefen Gen3 AV-Over-IP solution also provides OSD hotkey switching and USB roaming to enhance the user experience, as well as HDMI and USB-C DisplayPort Alt Mode inputs to provide compatibility with a variety of devices.

In addition, the system’s Power over Ethernet (PoE) eliminates the need for external power supplies to further simplify installation and reduce clutter.
