DBL to Distribute, Market Vonage VoIP Products

DBL Distributing, a wholesale distributor of consumer electronics and related accessories, has entered into a partnership with Vonage to deliver the company's voice-over-IP (VoIP) products.

The agreement calls for DBL to market Vonage's products and accessories. Vonage recently cut back on its marketing budget as part of a plan to improve its financial status.

DBL will also provide dealer marketing kits, which include visual merchandising signage, training materials and point-of-sale displays. According to the press release, DBL customers will receive an activation commission for each product sold that results in a Vonage account activation. Dealers need to become a Vonage/DBL authorized dealer in order to participate.

The products available through the partnership include the V-Tech IP 8100-1, V-Tech IP 811 handset, D-Link VTA Internet Phone Adapter, D-Link VWR Internet Phone Adapter with Wireless Router and V-Phone portable USB flash drive.
