4K Wall Plate Switcher Series Thrives in Commercial Environments
The HDMI 2.0 and USB-C Wall Plate Switcher over HDBaseT (EXT-HDBTKVM3) is a 3×1 wall-plate transmitter and switcher with the capability to switch a pair of HDMI 2.0 outputs and a single USB-C input to a remote display.
The product also provides IR and Power over HDBaseT (PoH) to offer installation flexibility.
The WP-2XHDUSBC is capable of extending 4K at 60Hz signals with 4:4:4 chroma subsampling, and it transmits these signals as far as 130 feet over a single Cat-5e/6/7 cable.
According to the company, the WP-2XHDUSBC can be used for a variety of commercial installations such as courtrooms, classrooms, conference rooms, and other similar types of environments.

The HDMI 2.0 and USB 2.0 Wall Plate over HDBaseT product is a double-gang solution that features 2×1 HDMI transmitter and receiver that supports 4K at 60Hz up to 130 feet.
Looking at the EXT-HDBTKVM3, this wall plate is an end point that connects via Ethernet to the receiver. The product incorporates multi-point USB 2.0, which integrators can set up for KVM (keyboard, video, mouse) or VTM (virtual technician module) applications.
The EXT0HDBTKVM3's inclusion of PoH offers voltage protection when power is sent over Ethernet to guard against damage to devices or receivers.
The product's two USB inputs can be used for the setup of cameras, USB microphones, andSOFTCODEC systems.
All of the KanexPro Wall Plate Series products are HDCP 2.2 compliant, and they support bi-directional RS-232 pass-through with HDBaseT with connection and local CEC, and bi-directional power via PoH.
