Savant is continuing its close partnership with Ring with the announcement that it has released full integration with the Ring X Line integration and its Savant Pro App.
Just weeks after Ring X was first unveiled at CES 2020 in Las Vegas, Savant became the first control company to announce it would integrate with the line. That announcement set the stage for today’s unveiling of full integration.
Last year, Savant and Ring, a division of Amazon (Nasdaq: AMZN), announced a multi-year strategic initiative, starting with Ring X Line bundles available to authorized integrators via the Savant Store. Now, with the release of daVinci 9.4, the company has delivered unique features and functionality designed for professional installers to bring enhanced security and convenience for their clients.
Ring X Line is a line of premium device bundles designed specifically for professional installers and their clients. These bundles include a select Ring device of the customer’s choosing, as well as a lifetime Ring Protect Basic subscription (for the useful lifetime of the device), and a 3-year limited warranty on the device.
Within the Savant ecosystem, homeowners will now have a seamless video doorbell and camera experience that includes a live view of all Ring video within the Savant Pro App, homeowner-created notifications based on camera activation, recorded video clip playback, plus two-way audio communications.

Integrators can add value for their clients by custom-configuring the Savant system to react to doorbell press or motion events, pause entertainment content in all zones, and/or activate outdoor lights.
“Ring X Line compatibility is an exciting addition to the Savant smart living experience and presents an important opportunity for integrators to deliver truly premium security and convenience features in association with a recognized leader in the video doorbell market,” states Savant CEO Robert Madonna.
“At Ring, we want to provide consumers with peace of mind and smart security whether they are home or away, and we’re thrilled to integrate with the Savant smart living experience,” says Jamie Siminoff, founder and chief inventor at Ring. “Ring and Savant both create technologies that help consumers’ homes work harder for them and ultimately make day-to-day life a little easier. The addition of Ring into the family of features that Savant offers will do just that.”
Ring X Line hardware is available on the Savant Store, with full integration available for systems upgraded to daVinci 9.4 and higher.
