Rotel has announced its new A8 Integrated Amplifier as the latest in the growing family of 14 Series models (which most recently saw several upgrades to their components back in July 2023).
The company states that its newest amplifier leverages Rotel’s 60-plus year heritage and experience in engineering and manufacturing high-performance, high-value audio components.
“Rotel continually invests in product innovations and the A8 was a challenge readily accepted by the engineering teams.”, says Daren Orth, chief
technology officer (CTO), Rotel.
“The opportunity to develop a high-performance Integrated Amplifier solution targeted at an entry-level price point, without compromise, stands as a testament to the dedication, passion, and commitment Rotel brings to music lovers everywhere.”
Rotel boasts the resulting audio delivers music with deep controlled bass energy, a refined midrange with a detailed soundstage from a product with a slim 60mm chassis.

The A8 Integrated Amplifier enters the Rotel product lineup as the most cost-efficient model in the series engineered as a no-compromise Class AB fully integrated solution. Built on a Rotel in-house manufactured high current toroidal transformer the A8 delivers 40 watts of output power into 4-ohm speakers.
The new Rotel A8 Integrated Amplifier offers a choice of three RCA inputs and a built-in moving magnet (MM) phono stage help the company’s latest product’s compatibility with analog sources that includes vinyl. The front panel interface offers homeowners bass, treble and balance controls to allow personal, hands-on tuning of the audio. The included IR remote control is said to provide seamless operation of power on/off, volume level, and source selection.
For private listening, a 1/8-inch headphone jack is included, and the A8 Integrated Amplifier’s rear panel 5-way speaker binding posts allow integrators to easily connect speaker cables to power an array of in-wall, in-ceiling, floorstanding or bookshelf speakers.
Rotel adds the MSRP for the A8 Integrated Amplifier is $449.
