Swapping out a lens on a projector shouldn’t be that difficult, but even Digital Projection Inc. offers some quick tips to make it go smoother as part of its DPI University video training series.
Ken Eagle of DPI runs through the necessary tools and gives a valuable tip on the best way to attach a new short-throw zoom lens on a DPI M-Vision projector - use the lens hole in the faceplate to extend the screwdriver through! It’s a good lesson for technicians working on home theaters.
The video is just one of several online instructional videos on DPI’s YouTube channel.
