The Sunfire Atmos had to be designed from scratch because it is unlike any other sub on the market today. It features a redesigned Tracking Downconverter Amplifier to allow the 1400 Watt amp to fit in a smaller space, an aluminum cabinet of varying thickness to contain the up-to 24.4 PSI created by the woofer, and it has new feet designed to look and perform like a car tire, helping to keep the sub in the same place no matter how much bass it pumps out. The 6.5” woofer has more than 1.5” of excursion, made possible by a brand new type of surround, Sunfire’s Asymmetrical Cardioid Surround, which has a varying thickness that provides well-defined bass that combines extreme output with very low distortion and superior sound quality. With a footprint smaller than 10 inches square, the Atmos fits with the décor and styling of any room and can even be placed under an end table. For those audio enthusiasts seeking even more top-shelf bass power, two Atmos can be linked through a single cable with conveniently located master/slave connectors.
