Adding a new product to its AV series of products, Metra Home Theater Group has announced its CS-HAUD-EXT by Helios.
The company explains that its latest product is a digital and analog audio extractor that fully supports 1080p, 3D, 4K at 30Hz, 4K at 60Hz and high dynamic range (HDR).
Metra Home Theater Group points out the CS-HAUD-EXT features an HDMI input that converts audio to one HDMI, one optical, one digital coax and a left/right stereo analog audio output.
The company notes the product supports ARC (audio return channel) and the TV audio will return an output through the optical port. Metra says the CS-HAUD-EXT provides users with three audio modes: 2.0, 5.1 and ADV.
Metra Home Theater Group adds the unit is shipping, and it is designed to provide professional integrators with a solution that can be helpful when running audio return channels in home theaters or commercial AV installations.
