Vanco International’s Beale Street Audio brand has just introduced a pair of new subwoofers: the BPS-65 and the BPS-80.
According to Vanco, like other Beale Street Audio products, the new subwoofers are capable of producing high levels of deep bass through the company’s Sonic Vortex technology.
Internally, the subwoofers feature Kevlar woofers (6.5-inch in the BPS-65 and an 8-inch driver in the BPS-80). The drivers also feature butyl rubber surrounds, and powering these drivers is a 220-watt, 4-ohm built-in amplifier.
Externally, the subwoofers employ solid-wood cabinets in black-matte finishes, and black-cloth magnetic grilles.
The subwoofers provide integrators with options for stereo and mono audio line level (RCA) inputs, stereo speaker level and passthrough; auto sensing, LFE, and adjustable phase settings and subwoofer crossover frequency.
Vanco and Beale Street Audio specifies the BPS-65’s frequency response at 38Hz to 300Hz, and the BPS-80’s frequency response at 28Hz to 300Hz.
