Zachary Comeau, formerly Senior Editor of CE Pro, has been promoted to Executive Editor of the custom home integration industry’s leading media brand. In his new role, Comeau will oversee CE Pro’s editorial strategy and content initiatives across digital, print, and other platforms.
Simultaneously, Web Editor Nicholas Boever has been elevated to the position of Senior Editor. Boever has played a key role in driving the performance of the CE Pro website, helping to usher the brand into a new era of SEO best practices while further refining digital strategy across the site.

Comeau Brings Nearly a Decade of Experience to the Team

Comeau is an award-winning journalist with over a decade of professional experience, including eight years in B2B journalism and more than five years covering the pro AV, IT, and smart home industries. He joined CE Pro in May 2023 following three successful years contributing to sister publication Commercial Integrator. He brings youthful energy, deep industry knowledge, and a steadfast dedication to serving the custom home electronics community.
Outside of work, Comeau enjoys spending time with his wife and young daughter at their home in Massachusetts.
Prior to his work at Emerald, Boever helped contribute to and lead digital content strategy across multiple business and software firms. In 2021, he joined Emerald under the DesignWell publication where he often contributed to CE Pro‘s wellness column before transitioning to a full time role as Web Editor at CE Pro in 2022. In his own words, his education in literature and passion for the custom integration industry help drive him to develop content that helps serve integrators and their businesses, and give context on the value of the industry to the world.
