CEDIA Expo has announced the winners of its inaugural Best Booth Awards, recognizing exhibitors for their booth designs, displays and demonstrations at the 2026 event in Denver.

Origin Acoustics received two awards, earning Best of Show and Best Grand Booth. Other winners included DMF Lighting for Best Large Booth, Leon Speakers for Best Medium Booth, LifeSmart for Best Small Booth and ilLumenate Lighting for Best New Exhibitor Booth.

The awards also recognized exhibitors across several product categories, with Crestron winning Best Control System Booth, Lutron earning Best Lighting Booth, Paradigm Electronics receiving Best Audio Booth and Sony taking Best Video Booth.

In addition to the judged awards, CEDIA Expo attendees voted for their favorite audio demonstration as part of the People’s Choice Award for Best Sound/Audio Demo Room. Pro Audio Technology/Theory Audio Design received the most votes.

“The list of winners at the first CEDIA Expo Best Booth Awards reads like a who’s who of the residential integration market,” said Jason McGraw, Group Vice President and Show Director of CEDIA Expo. “The fact that these industry leaders invest so much into their impressive displays at CEDIA Expo underscores the value that they place on the residential integration market and CEDIA Expo!”

Industry Editors Selected Best Booth Winners

The Best Booth Awards were judged by a panel of editors from residential integration and AV industry publications, including Zachary Comeau and Nick Boever of CE Pro; Dan Ferrisi of Commercial Integrator; Charles Warner of Residential Tech Today; Anthony Savona of Residential Systems; Rob Stott of Connected Design; and Steph Beckett of rAVe [PUBS].

The awards evaluated exhibitor presentations across a show floor featuring audio, video, lighting, control, shading, security, power and other residential technology categories.

CEDIA Expo 2026 also featured 65 first-time exhibitors, including ilLumenate Lighting, which received the Best New Exhibitor Booth award.

DMF Lighting Senior Creative Director Maria Enrica Vittoria said the company’s booth was designed around residential-style vignettes featuring its Artafex lighting products, giving attendees opportunities to experience the fixtures and discuss their applications with company representatives.

“We wanted people to discover and truly understand the product through real conversation, not just look at it from a distance,” Vittoria said.

Origin Acoustics CEO Nick Berry said the company’s two awards reflected its investment in creating an interactive exhibit.

“Winning Best Grand Booth and Best in Show is meaningful because it validates the investment we made in creating something truly experiential, not just a trade show booth,” Berry said.

Meanwhile, Erin Phillips, Vice President for Pro Audio Technology/Theory Audio Design, emphasized the importance of live demonstrations in showcasing premium audio systems.

“You cannot sell premium audio without demonstrating the difference,” Phillips said.

CEDIA Expo 2027 is scheduled for September 7-10 at the Las Vegas Convention Center’s West Hall.
