Snap One has joined the growing list of manufacturers entering the next era of wireless connectivity with the introduction of its first Wi-Fi 7 access point, the Access Networks A770.
The A770, which I briefly touched on during my top products of 2024 article, marks a significant technological step forward in the connectivity-focused product line and is now available to systems integrators according to Snap One and parent company ADI.
“ADI and Snap One are committed to equipping our customers with high-performance networking solutions that meet the demands of today’s evolving interactive, immersive technologies,” says Nima Jamshidi, director of product management at Snap One.
“With the release of our first Wi-Fi 7-enabled access point, our customers can deliver exceptional Wi-Fi experiences, whether in bandwidth-hungry smart home ecosystems or highly congested commercial environments like offices and community environments.”
A770 Access Point Delivers Reliable Performance in Dense Wireless Environments
According to ADI and Snap One, the Access Networks A770 is set up as an enterprise-grade solution to help power connected devices and high-demand applications such as 8K video streaming, extended reality (XR) video conferencing, multiplayer gaming, and more.

Access Networks explains that as the demand for immersive and interactive technologies grows, so too will the need for higher capacity networking solutions like those provided by Wi-Fi 7.
A step up from the current Wi-Fi-6e standard, Wi-Fi 7 offers significantly reduced latency, providing nearly instantaneous, high speed connections to bandwidth-intensive applications across both residential and commercial environments.
Specifically, Access Networks touts its A770 Wi-Fi 7 access point provides reliable performance even in the most densely populated networks and scalable throughput capacity for expanding technologies.
The first wave of the A770 release will include the standard option, which is enabled with the ARCC Cloud-Based Controller. The A770 Unleashed version with OvrC integration will then follow the standard option shortly afterwards. In addition to the cloud-based controller and OvrC options, Access Networks says the access point also employs WPA3, the latest Wi-Fi security standard, helping to ensure that all connected devices are secure.
Access Networks Claims New AP Has “Double the Throughput Wi-Fi 6 Access Points”
Underscoring some of the other features the A770 provides, Access Networks says the AP features patented Beamflex+ Adaptive Antenna Technology, which enhances signal reception and reduces interference through dynamic, multidirectional antenna and radio patterns.
Supporting eight spatial streams across 2.4GHz, 5GHz, and 6GHz frequency bands, Access Networks claims the A770 is specified to provide double the throughput of Wi-Fi 6 access points with a combined data rate of 12.22 Gbps. It can also reportedly accommodate up to 1,024 concurrent users, while its built-in 10 Gbps Ethernet port ensures smooth connections without bottlenecks.
Backing dealers up in the field, Access Networks offers a team of certified networking engineers to provide comprehensive services, including network design, product pre-configuration, and post-installation system monitoring.
“As a combined business, we’re excited to offer customers new products and solutions to help them give their customers even better and more flexible options,” adds Bryce Nordstrand, VP GM managed services at Access Networks. “Looking ahead, we’re excited to continue to ramp up investments across key focus areas of our product roadmap, including networking.”
