Since we just created CE Pro’s Person of the Year in 2011, we missed a few influential characters that have substantially impacted the custom electronics industry in the past couple of years. We have been blessed lately with a plethora of HDMI switchers that solve some of the worst deficiencies of HDMI: key limitations, switching lags, EDID support, and so many others. CEDIA Expo 2011 was two months ago, but the innovations from the event are still fresh. Control4 has added an iPod dock to its roster of certified products. Channel Vision’s ARIA iBus on-wall dock for iPod (model P-3036) passed the rigorous testing process required of all Control4 Certified devices.
