05.16.2008 — Zero Surge has introduced its two outdoor room alleviators to accommodate outdoor kitchen and entertainment solutions -- the FF4R-20T-120 and FF4R-20T-240/208US.

Both models have optional NEMA waterproof enclosures and are specifically designed for whole-room power conditioning.

An enclosed panel mount can be hard wired to a branch circuit and both models exceeds the government's highest endurance rating.

The FF4R-20T-120 has a single 120V 20A line and the FF4R-20T-240/208US has either dual 120V 20A lines or a single 240V 20A line.

Each comes with a 10-year warranty, and the company says there is no ground line contamination.

They also feature bi modal filtering, dual continuous auto tracking and WVR-TSC wide voltage range total surge cancellation.

It's not recommended to combine an indoor surge protection device and try to extend it to outdoor equipment. Any line filter needs to be placed as close to the point of use as possible.

MSRP for the FF4R-20T-120 is $695, while the FF4R-20T-240/208US is $949.
