Yamaha BD-A1000 Universal Disc Player
With an MSRP of $700, Yamaha's new Aventage BD-A1000 Universal Disc Player incorporates a full array of features that allow installers to offer the product to clients to serve as an all-in-one source component for modern home entertainment.
The Yamaha Aventage BD-A 1000 Universal Disc Player offers users a full-featured, all-on-one component that can play a variety of discs, including Blu-ray and media streaming from Websites like Netflix.
Yamaha is a diverse company that builds everything from motorcycles and Jet skis, to pianos, drums and consumer electronics.
Over the course of the past few months Yamaha has introduced several products under its new Aventage product badge, which is designed to channel the company's pro audio engineering capabilities into a line of high-performance A/V products. Adding to its Aventage product line, Yamaha has just introduced the BD-A1000 Universal Disc Player.
This new disc player works with today's popular disc-based media formats, and it can stream Web-based media content from sites like NetFlix, Blockbuster and Youtube.com. In addition, it also incorporates front and rear USB inputs to playback portable content that's stored on USB-based drives.
Yamaha says the player incorporates lossless audio decoding that can be output via its multichannel analog and HDMI outputs, and its RS-232 serial port also enables CE Pros to integrate the component into a third-party control system.
