WyreStorm Launches 8x8 HDMI Matrix Switcher
Switcher simultaneously shows same or different source and has six methods of control.
WyreStorm, a new company that will launch on June 15, 2009, has introduced a new 8x8 HDMI matrix switcher that sends eight HDMI sources to eight HDMI displays.
The eight outputs can simultaneously show the same or different source, whether or not the source is HDCP-compliant.
The switcher has six methods of control: front panel buttons, local IR, IR call back, RS-232, RS-485, Ethernet (IP). It also includes eight IR emitters to control HDMI sources and an IR extension receiver.

- Ability to read and save EDID (Extended Display Identification Data) from displays
